Long-Term Laboratory Intern – Home Care & Cleaning

About the role

Join BASF’s Home Care, Industrial & Institutional Cleaning Laboratory at the Innovation & Technology Center in Teknopark Pendik, Istanbul. This long‑term internship offers Master’s or PhD students a hands‑on experience in product and formulation development while they continue their studies.

Key responsibilities

• Support laboratory activities for new product and formulation development.
• Conduct stability monitoring, analytical evaluations, and performance testing of formulations and prepare detailed reports.
• Monitor raw‑material inventories and submit material requests as needed.
• Perform literature reviews and technical research to support project goals.
• Transform study data into presentations and visual graphs.
• Assist with daily laboratory operations, sample shipments, and team activities.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Polymer Engineering, with studies continuing at least until August 2027.
• Strong analytical thinking, openness to innovation, and excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good command of English.
• Available to work on‑site at least three days per week and reside on the Asian side of Istanbul.
