Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Nucs AI you will develop and deploy cutting‑edge ML models that power AI‑driven medical software for cancer diagnostics, focusing on prostate cancer imaging.

Key responsibilities

• Design, train and optimise deep learning models (CNNs, Vision Transformers, multi‑modal LLMs) for medical image analysis.
• Build data pipelines to clean, preprocess and augment large DICOM/NIFTY datasets.
• Integrate AI models with back‑end systems for seamless clinical deployment.
• Develop scalable cloud‑based AI solutions on Google Cloud or AWS using PyTorch and ONNX Runtime.
• Ensure models and data processing comply with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency with PyTorch and ONNX frameworks.
• Experience handling medical imaging formats such as DICOM and NIFTY.
• Expertise in 3D image segmentation and fine‑tuning multi‑modal LLMs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Google Cloud preferred, AWS acceptable).
