Maintenance Engineer – Injection Molding & Polyurethane

About the role

Toyota Boshoku Türkiye is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to lead and optimise injection moulding, seat manufacturing and polyurethane processes at its Adapazarı plant. The role combines technical maintenance, process improvement and project management to ensure high quality, safety and operational availability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead injection moulding, seat manufacturing, polyurethane engineering and related maintenance activities.
• Improve process efficiency while maintaining safety, quality and equipment availability.
• Eliminate process‑ and equipment‑related defects and scrap to enhance part quality.
• Analyse technical drawings, review global standards and ensure compliance with PFMEA and IATF requirements.
• Prepare process plans, equipment specifications, production volume calculations and project schedules.
• Monitor and optimise secondary moulding systems, cooling, raw‑material feeding, mold heating, welding equipment, jigs, rotary tables and robot trajectories.
• Participate in Kaizen initiatives for injection moulding, polyurethane, welding and tooling.
• Plan and execute preventive, periodic and predictive maintenance programmes.
• Develop and maintain maintenance standards and work instructions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in manufacturing, injection moulding, polyurethane processes, project management or maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of injection moulding technology, polyurethane applications, machine parameters and material properties.
