Maintenance Planning Engineer (Electrical-Electronics)

About the role

Çimsa is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to lead its Electrical & Electronics Maintenance teams at its Mersin cement plant. The role ensures the safe, reliable and efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment, drives maintenance excellence and implements continuous improvement in line with the company's operational objectives, technical standards and sustainability approach.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical power systems in line with company policies and strategies.
• Plan, coordinate and oversee short- and long-term maintenance activities to maximise equipment availability, reliability and performance.
• Lead preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance for electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, reduce breakdowns and optimise maintenance processes.
• Develop and implement maintenance improvement initiatives and ensure effective planning, resource use and coordination of daily activities.
• Lead and develop the Electrical & Electronics Maintenance teams, foster a strong safety culture and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements, technical standards and company procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Electrical & Electronics Maintenance, preferably in the cement or heavy industry sector.
• Residing in Mersin or willing to relocate; English at B2 level preferred.
• Strong team leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems, especially Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms.
• Good understanding of electrical energy systems, MV and LV systems.
• Maintenance management practices, planning methodologies and reliability improvement processes.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office; a High Voltage Operation Responsibility certificate is preferred.
