Marketing Lead – Rare Disease

About the role

Roche is looking for a Marketing Lead to report to the Head of Customer Engagement & Marketing Chapter and lead the Rare Disease area. The role creates value for patients, the business, external stakeholders and health systems by working with patient journey partners (PJPs), healthcare system partners (HSPs) and other cross-functional enablers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop marketing strategies for therapeutic areas, working cross-functionally with Medical and Access Leads
• Build and implement an omnichannel engagement plan, collaborating closely with the Digital team
• Support continuous sales and logistics forecasting with PJPs and Finance
• Translate scientific data into commercial insights and recommend strategies; define pricing, distribution and sales approaches for new launches with Access and Launch Excellence Leads
• Monitor budgets and expenditures, and give marketing direction to optimize new product launches
• Take part in congresses, scientific meetings and global implementation meetings
• Support PJPs in implementing projects, and collaborate with global networks and affiliates
• Prepare and update training materials for customer engagement teams and other lead roles
• Work with the communication department on mar-com strategies and help set therapeutic area communication messages and content

Required profile

• Strong entrepreneurial, growth and system-thinking mindset, with integrity and a lead mindset
• Ability to build relationships, work in project teams and influence internal members and stakeholders
• Proficiency in English and Turkish
• Experience in the rare disease therapeutic area is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of proven marketing experience is highly desirable
