Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead product development and design optimisation for cutting‑edge motion platforms and immersive attractions. The role involves turning concepts into fully validated, manufacturable products while supporting international sales opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects for new product development or modification of existing lines.
• Optimise part designs for quality, cost, dimensional accuracy and functionality.
• Provide technical expertise to the sales team for global opportunities.
• Conduct feasibility and custom design studies to meet specific client requirements.
• Drive internal process improvements and workflow enhancements.
• Plan and execute mechanical/structural testing, validation and documentation.
• Prepare production drawings, assembly guides and integration documents.
• Assess manufacturability, monitor production processes and resolve non‑conformities.
• Use ERP project modules for cost analysis and reporting to senior management.
• Present technical topics in English at international project and business meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical and sheet‑metal design.
• Strong knowledge of technical drawing standards, materials, electrical systems, automation and manufacturing processes.
• Advanced written and spoken English for technical presentations and business discussions.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Siemens NX.
• High proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD.
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with engineering simulation tools such as ADAMS and ANSYS (preferred).
