Mechanical Maintenance Executive

About the role

Aksa, a company of Akkök Holding founded in 1968 in Yalova and known for producing acrylic fiber, is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Executive for its factory in Yalova. The role ensures the safe, reliable and efficient operation of mechanical equipment, manages the maintenance team and leads preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of all mechanical equipment in the assigned area.
• Prepare, optimize and monitor the annual maintenance budget.
• Lead and manage the maintenance team, including performance, development and training plans.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment availability.
• Monitor equipment performance, lead failure investigations, root cause analyses and corrective action plans.
• Coordinate periodic maintenance, major shutdowns and equipment overhauls.
• Manage equipment modernization, refurbishment and improvement projects.
• Manage maintenance contractors and external service providers, and support spare parts management.
• Document maintenance activities in systems such as SAP PM or Maximo and track maintenance KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental and technical safety requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance in an industrial environment.
• Experience in equipment modernization, reliability improvement and capital projects, preferably in heavy industry, chemical plants or continuous production.
• Strong knowledge of planning, prioritizing, organizing and monitoring maintenance activities, and project management methods.
• Basic knowledge of automation and control systems.
• Proficiency in English; proactive, analytical, problem-solving and results-oriented.
