Process Design Executive

About the role

Aksa, a company of Akkök Holding founded in 1968 in Yalova and known as the world's largest producer of acrylic fiber, is looking for a Process Design Executive with chemical engineering experience and strong leadership skills to join its Process Development Department. The company has a capacity of 350,000 tons per year and supplies raw materials for textiles and technical textiles.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimize chemical processes
• Analyze bottlenecks in production processes and develop lasting solutions
• Coordinate Six Sigma and continuous improvement projects
• Carry out design and improvement studies in line with process safety requirements
• Develop and manage projects aimed at increasing energy efficiency
• Develop and implement technical solutions to improve process control and production performance
• Lead and manage the engineering team, supporting performance and development
• Implement projects in coordination with production, maintenance and investment teams

Required profile

• Graduate of a university chemical engineering department
• At least 7 years of experience in process design, production engineering or process improvement
• Active involvement in production facilities and experience in process development and improvement studies
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and good time management and prioritization
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines
• Team management and leadership skills

Required skills

• Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies
• Knowledge of process safety (PSM) and safe design principles
• Experience in energy efficiency and sustainability projects
• Ability to design and sustain process control processes and contribute to industrial digital transformation projects
