Mobile Developer

About the role

Rapsodo is seeking a Mobile Developer to create high‑performance Android and cross‑platform mobile applications that power its sports technology products. You will work closely with product, design, backend, and QA teams to deliver intuitive, reliable, and scalable experiences used by athletes worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android and Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) applications using Kotlin.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following MVVM, modern architecture principles, and best practices.
• Build responsive user interfaces with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Jetpack libraries.
• Improve application architecture, performance, reliability, and overall user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to networking, concurrency, and memory management.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Stay up to date with modern mobile technologies and contribute to continuous improvement across the engineering team.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on Android mobile application development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android fundamentals (Activities, Fragments, Services, Intents, Broadcast Receivers).
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, MVVM, and modern Android development practices.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, algorithms, data structures, and local databases such as SQLite, Room, or Realm.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a passion for learning new technologies.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities in a cross‑functional engineering environment.
