Monitoring & Observability Engineer

About the role

Ceiba Health builds connected care technology for hospitals, with its eConnect IoMT platform connecting patient monitors, ventilators and infusion pumps at the ICU bedside and streaming their data in real time to clinical teams. The company is looking for a Monitoring & Observability Engineer to own and evolve the monitoring stack that watches the IoMT device fleet and site servers, giving engineering and support teams in Istanbul and the US a clear view of every device.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong written and spoken English, communicating daily with teams in the US.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with AI assistants such as Claude to speed up development and problem solving, with good judgment about verifying their output.
• Nice to have: background in medical devices, IoMT, healthcare or another regulated industry.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Prometheus and PromQL, Grafana dashboards and Alertmanager.
• Solid Linux fundamentals and a working understanding of networking (SSH, TCP/IP, ports, reachability).
• Familiarity with AWS, particularly S3.
• Nice to have: experience with Mimir, Loki or other large-scale metrics and log storage; Docker and Ansible; production experience with Rust; experience monitoring distributed fleets of edge or embedded Linux devices.
