About the role
Festo is seeking a Non-Production Material Buyer for its Manisa facility to manage indirect and technical procurement activities aligned with company strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end sourcing processes including supplier identification, RFQ management, negotiations, contracting and implementation.
- Procure technical equipment, spare parts, maintenance requirements and production‑supporting materials for manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, IT and Facility Management teams.
- Identify and implement cost‑optimization opportunities through strategic sourcing and demand consolidation.
- Support CAPEX and OPEX projects, supplier onboarding, assessments and contract administration while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in indirect or technical procurement within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
Required skills
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Proficiency in SAP Ariba.
