NTI Hardware Manufacturing Engineer (Hybrid)

About the role

GE Aerospace is hiring a Hybrid NTI Hardware Manufacturing Engineer in Gebze. The engineer develops and manages the manufacturing plan for assigned NTI parts, turning design requirements into a practical, executable manufacturing route across internal operations, external suppliers, sub-tiers and special process sources to support qualification and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Create end-to-end manufacturing plans for assigned NTI parts
• Define routing, process sequence, tooling, inspection requirements and outside processing needs
• Assess producibility and identify manufacturing risks early, before they reach the shop floor
• Map supplier, sub-tier and special process dependencies and support make/buy and source decisions
• Serve as the part-level manufacturing project manager, tracking milestones, constraints and open issues to closure
• Engage SMEs such as special processes, materials, quality and tooling experts, and coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, quality, tooling, suppliers and special process owners
• Document manufacturing plans, assumptions, risks, decisions and lessons learned for reuse on future parts

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials or a related technical field
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience designing, manufacturing, inspecting and/or improving part families, commodities, value streams or manufacturing processes
• Aircraft engine components manufacturing shop experience
• Proven ability to build a manufacturing plan end-to-end (routing, tooling, inspection, outside processing)
• Ability to lead cross-functional coordination and communicate clearly across shop floor, engineering, suppliers and leadership, surfacing risks early

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, inspection methods, process controls, quality systems and producibility/manufacturability principles in the aerospace industry
• Identifying and managing supplier, sub-tier and special process dependencies
