OT Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

As a member of the OT Planning team at Mercedes‑Benz Türk, you will ensure the cybersecurity and reliable operation of the production environment for trucks and buses. You will work closely with technical planning, maintenance and IT teams to keep industrial systems, machines and networks aligned with defined security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the OT cybersecurity posture of industrial machines, CNC systems, production networks and OT assets.
• Coordinate with other Daimler Buses sites and OT cybersecurity coordinators to align standards and share best practices.
• Own the cybersecurity aspects of asset commissioning and onboarding, including firewall authorisations and vulnerability checks.
• Conduct OT risk assessments, identify and remediate vulnerabilities, and organise workshops with external consultants.
• Plan, test and roll out software updates, patches, backups and endpoint protection while maintaining network segmentation and secure remote access.
• Monitor OT networks and assets, respond to incidents and act as the technical authority for escalations.
• Ensure secure data flow between machines, MES, IoT platforms and enterprise systems.
• Raise awareness through training, audits and continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in OT cybersecurity within an industrial production environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Strong analytical skills for risk‑based decision making and incident response.
