Planning & Reporting Chief for Data Center Project

About the role

The Planning & Reporting Chief will lead site planning, progress monitoring and reporting for a large‑scale data centre project in Ümraniye, Istanbul. Reporting directly to the Planning & Reporting Manager, the role ensures accurate schedule updates and timely delivery of progress data to all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Update and maintain the project schedule in Primavera P6, tracking construction, architectural, MEP and commissioning activities.
• Collect, analyse and report daily, weekly and monthly progress data, producing S‑Curves, progress tables and look‑ahead schedules.
• Monitor critical and high‑risk activities, subcontractor schedules and interface points with procurement, shop drawings and equipment deliveries.
• Prepare progress, action and decision tracking tables for site meetings and consolidate reports for the employer, consultant and head office.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in Civil Engineering.
• At least 10 years of planning and reporting experience on large‑scale construction or data‑center projects.
• Strong analytical, detail‑oriented and organisational skills with the ability to work in a fast‑paced site environment.
• Valid driver’s licence and residence in Istanbul, preferably on the Asian side.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 for schedule management.
• Advanced Excel skills for reporting, charting and data analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems, Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, quantities and progress percentages.
