Platform and Automation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Platform and Automation Engineer to design, build, and optimise the internal technology ecosystem that powers a globally distributed organisation. Based in Turkey, you will create scalable automation solutions, integrate critical SaaS platforms and drive operational efficiency through engineering‑first practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve internal platforms, automation workflows and system integrations.
• Administer, optimise and integrate SaaS tools such as CRM, customer‑support, billing, collaboration and engineering applications.
• Develop automation scripts, CLI tools and event‑driven workflows using modern programming languages and APIs.
• Build reliable data‑synchronisation and user‑provisioning integrations between business systems.
• Create internal tools that enhance onboarding, access management, collaboration and employee productivity.
• Identify and prototype AI‑driven solutions, including intelligent assistants and analytics‑focused automation.
• Provide advanced technical support, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement long‑term process improvements.
• Maintain security controls, identity management, endpoint protection and compliance aligned with industry standards.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in IT, platform, systems or business‑systems engineering.
• Proven senior‑level ownership of internal platforms and automation initiatives.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for operational excellence and security.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• Experience with modern programming and scripting languages and API integration.
• Hands‑on knowledge of SaaS platform administration (CRM, support, billing, collaboration tools).
• Familiarity with automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines and event‑driven architectures.
• Understanding of identity management, security controls and compliance processes.
