PMC QA/QC Manager

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced QA/QC Manager to lead all quality assurance and control activities on a major petrochemical EPC/PMC project. The role involves establishing, implementing and maintaining the Project Quality Management System to ensure compliance with specifications, international standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001 and client requirements.
• Lead and manage QA/QC personnel, including inspectors, quality engineers and third‑party inspection agencies.
• Ensure EPC contractors and subcontractors maintain effective quality management systems throughout execution.
• Prepare and monitor Project Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), audit schedules and quality procedures.
• Review and approve contractor quality documentation, vendor qualifications and inspection reports.
• Oversee inspection and testing for civil, structural, mechanical, piping, welding, electrical, instrumentation and coating disciplines.
• Manage Non‑Conformance Reports, corrective and preventive actions, and lead root‑cause investigations.
• Identify quality risks and implement mitigation plans.

Required profile

• Extensive experience on large‑scale petrochemical, refinery, oil & gas or industrial EPC/PMC projects.
• Proven track record of managing quality teams, contractors and quality systems throughout a project lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of international standards, regulatory requirements and client specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
