Steel Structure Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Steel Structure Supervisor to lead fabrication and erection activities on site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, schedule and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise steel structure fabrication and erection on site in line with project specifications, schedule and safety requirements.
• Monitor EPC contractor work to ensure compliance with approved drawings, engineering designs and technical specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to track progress, quality and safe execution of steel works.
• Provide technical support to the construction team on steel installation and related engineering matters.
• Review steel structure drawings, method statements and technical documents as needed.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during fabrication and erection to avoid delays.
• Ensure all steel works follow approved procedures and project standards.
• Support quality control activities to maintain required construction standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience supervising steel structure fabrication and erection, preferably in petrochemical or similar industrial projects.
• Experience in a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of steel construction manufacturing and erection practices.
• Familiarity with steel‑related ASME and EN codes and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
