Process Quality Engineer

About the role

Sistem Alüminyum is looking for a Process Quality Engineer for its manufacturing facility in Ergene, Tekirdağ. The role covers monitoring process quality, ensuring compliance with quality standards, identifying improvement opportunities and supporting continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. Candidates should live in or be willing to relocate to Çorlu, Çerkezköy, Ergene, Tekirdağ city centre or Lüleburgaz.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality requirements and coordinate product quality inspections.
• Identify process defects and nonconformities, carry out root cause analyses and follow up on corrective actions.
• Evaluate customer complaints, analyse them and implement improvement actions.
• Perform quality inspections during new product launches and die trials.
• Carry out FMEA, Control Plan, SPC and MSA activities.
• Take part in audits, testing and reporting under quality management systems and applicable standards.
• Monitor quality performance indicators and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Experience in quality processes and knowledge of quality management principles; preferably at least 3 years in the metal industry, especially machining and/or non-machining manufacturing.
• Preferably trained in IATF 16949 and experienced in audit processes.
• Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills, and excellent teamwork, communication and collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of FMEA, Control Plans, SPC and MSA; preferably CMM and/or 3D scanning, and gauge and fixture design.
• Proficiency in at least one of AutoCAD, SolidWorks or CATIA.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office applications.
