About the role
We are seeking a hands‑on Procurement Manager (Direct / Indirect) for a global manufacturing client. The role blends strategic sourcing with day‑to‑day purchasing, requiring strong negotiation skills and active involvement in supplier management.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end procurement processes, including sourcing, RFQs, tendering, negotiations and purchase order execution.
- Conduct competitive tenders in line with local and global procurement policies and audit requirements.
- Drive cost optimisation, supplier development and commercial negotiations.
- Perform hands‑on procurement activities using SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Develop supplier networks and identify alternative sourcing opportunities.
Required profile
- Proven procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong tender management, strategic sourcing and negotiation skills.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Experience working within structured procurement and audit frameworks.
- Good command of English and strong commercial awareness.
