Production Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Production Assistant Specialist to design and implement production processes that meet quality, safety and efficiency standards. The role involves continuous monitoring, analysis and improvement of manufacturing operations in a food or chemical environment. You will work closely with operators and the maintenance team to ensure smooth production.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement production processes that meet quality, safety and efficiency standards.
• Continuously monitor and analyze production processes to identify improvement areas.
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase yields, reduce waste and improve product quality.
• Participate in the development of production schedules and capacity planning.
• Monitor equipment usage, cleaning and production procedures on site and drive improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Track equipment failures and coordinate corrective actions with the maintenance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, food engineering or a related field.
• Preferably 2 years of experience in food or chemical manufacturing.
• Experience with project management and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong command of English.
