Production Director

About the role

Anatolia, a leading global supplier of ceramic, tile and natural stone products, is seeking a Production Director for its state‑of‑the‑art facility in Aliağa, Izmir. The role offers the chance to lead a high‑performance manufacturing operation within a culture of innovation, passion and excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all production operations in line with company strategy, quality, environmental and health‑and‑safety standards.
• Set and monitor performance targets across departments, develop action plans for continuous improvement.
• Plan, control and optimise the use of workforce, machinery, equipment and materials throughout the production process.
• Lead projects to increase capacity, reduce costs and achieve operational excellence.
• Analyse production data and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Strengthen cross‑functional collaboration to ensure uninterrupted, efficient operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the ceramics manufacturing industry, including at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Proficiency in English preferred.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally without restriction.

Required skills

• Expertise in all ceramic production processes (raw material preparation, shaping, drying, glazing, firing, quality control, technical maintenance).
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, strategic planning, performance management and resource optimisation.
• Experience in productivity improvement, cost reduction and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• In‑depth understanding of Integrated Management Systems, Environmental Management and Occupational Health & Safety practices.
• Analytical thinking, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Proven leadership with a track record of team management and employee engagement.
