Production Manager – Chemical Manufacturing

About the role

Our client, a leading chemical manufacturer in Çorlu, is seeking a Production Manager to lead and optimise production processes for chemical raw materials. The role involves hands‑on management of batch reactor operations and driving continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily production operations, ensuring alignment with the production plan and safety standards.
• Lead process efficiency studies, root‑cause analyses and implement corrective actions to reduce scrap, rework and downtime.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, R&D, Quality and Planning teams to ensure smooth production flow.
• Support the development, optimisation and commissioning of new product processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• 8‑10 years of experience in chemical raw material production, preferably in polyurethane (PU) manufacturing.
• Hands‑on experience with batch‑reactor based production on the shop floor.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Training or certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is preferred.
