Production Planning Supervisor – Turkey

About the role

The Production Planning Supervisor will lead planning activities across 3M’s Çorlu and Çerkezköy manufacturing sites in Turkey. You will balance service, inventory, capacity and operational efficiency while guiding a team of Production Planners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop Production Planning teams at both sites.
• Drive short‑term scheduling and long‑term capacity planning to meet service, inventory and cost targets.
• Contribute to monthly S&OP and Supply Review processes with accurate inventory, production and capacity insights.
• Identify capacity constraints, inventory risks and service opportunities, and develop mitigation plans with cross‑functional partners.
• Monitor inventory operating levels, customer service targets and key performance indicators.
• Support new product introductions, product transitions and strategic initiatives through effective planning.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects focused on service enhancement, waste reduction and planning process excellence.
• Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Customer Operations and Commercial teams to ensure end‑to‑end supply‑chain alignment.
• Oversee employee selection, coaching, performance management and succession planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (field not specified).
• Proven experience in production planning or supply‑chain planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a planning team.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate demand forecasts into actionable production plans.
