Purchasing Assistant

About the role

The Purchasing Assistant manages ordering requests coming from departments and carries out purchasing transactions by obtaining quotations to meet the company's internal needs. The role ensures timely procurement of approved raw materials and supplies, taking into account quality, price and delivery standards. It also covers import operations, coordination with overseas suppliers and logistics companies.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure procurement of departmental purchasing requests according to quality conditions
• Collect purchasing quotes and proposals
• Place purchase orders and track delivery lead times
• Work with a cost-oriented approach and optimise purchasing budgets
• Identify potential suppliers and manage price negotiations and alternative sourcing
• For imports, coordinate with overseas suppliers and organise delivery after customs clearance
• Maintain contact with logistics companies on operational matters

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics or Administrative Sciences
• Fresh graduate or up to 3 years of experience
• Advanced level of English
• Willingness to develop a career in purchasing and to relocate to Eskişehir or Bozüyük
