Purchasing Manager – Renewable Energy

About the role

MOGAN, a subsidiary of Gürüş Group Companies, works in renewable energy solutions and is looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to work at the head office. The role manages purchasing processes with a strategic perspective, covering materials, equipment, subcontractors and services for energy and construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Determine and implement the company's procurement strategy in line with budget and project objectives
• Plan and manage procurement of materials, equipment, subcontractors and services for energy and construction projects
• Conduct supplier search, evaluation, tender collection, comparison and negotiation
• Coordinate contracts and orders with legal, finance and project teams
• Establish framework agreements to secure cost advantages and supply continuity
• Monitor supplier performance against quality, delivery and price
• Report procurement budgets, cost reports and savings indicators to management
• Manage and develop the procurement team and improve processes and policies
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, ethical rules and legislation

Required profile

• Graduation from industrial, civil, mechanical or electrical-electronics engineering, or business/economics
• 8-10 years of procurement experience in the energy and/or construction sector, including 3-5 years in management roles
• Experience in large-scale project-based procurement, subcontracting and contract management
• Team management and interdepartmental collaboration; no travel restrictions (military service completion required for male candidates)

Required skills

• Domestic and international procurement, import, customs and international payment terms
• ERP/procurement software and MS Office
• Good command of English
• Negotiation, analysis and decision-making skills
• Preferred: renewable energy, EPC or public/private tender experience, and procurement certifications such as CIPS
