QC Coordinator

About the role

Bureau Veritas, a world leader in testing, inspection and certification services, is seeking a QC Coordinator to supervise field engineering activities and ensure compliance with project specifications in Adana.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all field engineering activities, aligning them with project specifications and timelines.
• Oversee the EPC contractor’s work to ensure compliance with engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and guarantee safe and efficient execution.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team, addressing engineering queries.
• Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical problems during construction to minimize schedule disruptions.
• Implement and enforce quality control measures to meet required standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8‑12 years of experience in field engineering supervision, preferably on petrochemical projects.
• Experience in a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of engineering processes, materials, and international standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of international engineering standards.
• Mechanical engineering technical expertise.
