Quality Control Specialist

About the role

FUCHS is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join its İzmir site. You will work in a modern laboratory environment, supporting both lab and field operations to ensure the highest quality of raw materials, semi‑finished and finished products, as well as packaging.

Key responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection, testing and analysis of raw materials, intermediates, finished goods and packaging.
• Maintain, calibrate and validate laboratory equipment, analytical instruments and monitoring systems with full traceability.
• Support quality assurance activities across the production site and conduct risk analyses for plant processes.
• Manage validation and verification of new and existing test methods, including measurement system analysis (MSA) and uncertainty calculations.
• Lead ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation sustainability, scope extensions and internal/external audit coordination.
• Participate in CAPA, change control, supplier audits and customer complaint investigations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry.
• At least 1 year of experience in a petrochemical laboratory (preferred).
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025, SPC and MSA (preferred).
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency (preferred).
• Willingness to work in a shift system.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of SPC, MSA, measurement uncertainty and method validation.
• Proficiency with SAP, LIMS and MS Office applications.
• Experience in spectrophotometric analysis.
• Knowledge of lubricants and additives.
