Quality Engineer

About the role

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Quality Engineer will support business unit Quality Leads by maintaining standardized quality systems, data collection schemes, test methods and audits.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and monitor end‑to‑end quality controls (incoming, in‑process, final inspection) and develop Quality Plans, FMEAs, SOPs, applying SPC.
• Monitor, analyse and report scrap, waste and rework rates, lead root‑cause investigations and manage non‑conforming material handling.
• Lead customer complaint investigations using 8D, 5 Whys and Fishbone analysis, host audits and support on‑site customer visits.
• Support product feasibility studies, maintain ERP master data, BOMs and Engineering Change Orders, and manage ISO 9001:2015 QMS audits.
• Lead Kaizen projects, track KPIs, present performance reports and provide quality training to production staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical or related).
• Minimum 3 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• ISO 9001:2015, FMEA, SPC, 8D, 5 Whys, Lean/Kaizen methodologies.
• ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or equivalent) and data‑management software.
