Reservation Sales & Service Agent

About the role

Swissôtel The Bosphorus, a five-star luxury hotel in Beşiktaş, Istanbul, is hiring a Reservation Sales & Service Agent. The role handles incoming reservation requests by phone, email and online channels, provides guests with information on rooms, rates and facilities, and supports group and corporate bookings.

Key responsibilities

• Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email and online platforms
• Inform guests about room types, rates, hotel facilities and promotions
• Process, modify and cancel reservations accurately in the hotel management system
• Upsell hotel rooms, packages and additional services to increase revenue
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability and pricing
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping and Sales to ensure smooth guest experiences
• Respond professionally to guest inquiries and complaints
• Prepare reservation reports and keep accurate guest records
• Support group bookings and corporate account reservations when needed
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and service standards

Required profile

• Degree in Hospitality, Tourism or a related field (preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Previous experience in hospitality, reservations or customer service preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Sales-oriented mindset with upselling abilities
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to work shifts
