Sales & Business Development Team Leader

About the role

The Sales & Business Development Lead will drive growth of carbon fiber and composite solutions, build strategic customer relationships and expand industrial applications across target markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead critical projects with R&D and TS&D to develop new carbon‑fiber‑based products and solutions.
• Identify and negotiate collaborations with global companies, manage the full sales cycle from order to cash, and create accurate forecasts.
• Maintain the sales CRM, develop pricing strategies with the Commercial Director, and monitor market trends, competitors and customer needs.
• Represent Aksa Carbon at fairs, conduct customer visits, and handle complaints and special product requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Material, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or related fields; MBA or Economics is a plus.
• Minimum 7 years of sales or business development experience in carbon fiber, composites or industrial B2B markets, preferably with exposure to wind energy, defence or aerospace.
• Proven technical sales background, strong leadership, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and willingness to travel extensively.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of carbon fiber and composite materials.
• Experience with CRM tools for sales management.
