Sales Executive (Catering)

About the role

The Sales Executive (Catering) will act as the primary point of contact for guests and corporate clients, promoting Marriott’s catering services and driving revenue growth. This full‑time position is based at Suzer Plaza, Askerocagi Caddesi No 6, Istanbul and involves both front‑line guest interaction and back‑office support.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest calls, requests and problems, using sales techniques to maximise revenue while maintaining loyalty.
• Upsell catering services, process reservations, changes and cancellations received via phone, fax or mail.
• Enter Marriott Rewards information into the appropriate software and process point‑redeeming requests.
• Provide complimentary gifts such as reward points, tickets or certificates to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Support the Sales & Marketing team with general office duties including filing, emailing, typing and faxing.
• Assist management in training and motivating staff, serving as a role model.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality of proprietary information and adherence to company policies.
• Ensure accurate documentation, clear communication and high‑quality service standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant sales or hospitality experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
