Sales Manager – Purification Business (Turkey)

About the role

Clariant is looking for a Sales Manager (m/f/d) to drive profitable growth of its Purification business in Turkey. The role holds substantial sales responsibility for this business and also contributes to the success of the Paper business. It is a hybrid position.

Key responsibilities

• Sales strategy and business management: implement growth-driving strategies, manage customer relationships, optimise pricing and margins, and identify new opportunities in line with the Head of Purification EMEA
• Business development: grow business with existing customers, win new accounts, work with technical and marketing teams on new applications and products, monitor the market and competitors, and propose projects for unmet needs
• Sales operations and admin support: support performance reviews, forecasting and annual sales meetings, prepare tenders, contracts and quotations, and act as key user for SAP, CRM and SPOSEA for BL Adsorbents EMEA
• Customer and stakeholder management: maintain relationships with customers and distributors, coordinate cross-functional activities and solve sales and delivery problems

Required profile

• University degree (Bachelor's or higher) in Engineering or Business Administration
• At least 5 years of experience in sales, business support or customer support, ideally in import/export
• Strong sales drive, achievement motivation and a "hunter mentality"
• Native-level Turkish and fluent English; another language is an advantage
• Availability for domestic and international travel and no outstanding military obligation

Required skills

• Good knowledge of SAP and international export
• Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office and other sales tools, including AI
