Security Engineer

About the role

The Security Engineer will design, implement, and maintain security solutions that protect the organization’s assets and data across cloud environments. You will work closely with cloud infrastructure teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into all projects.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary and backup engineer for CSPM, DLP, Mail Security Gateway, Secure Web Gateway, and PAM technologies.
• Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and respond promptly.
• Ensure security systems remain operational and available.
• Collaborate with AWS, Azure, and GCP teams on security requirements and implementations.
• Track and remediate vulnerabilities identified by CSPM tools.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Maintain detailed documentation of processes and configurations.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to embed security controls throughout the organization.
• Monitor technologies against policies, standards, industry best practices, and vendor guidelines.
• Prepare presentations, technical documents, and training sessions to promote security best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• 3+ years of experience in information security, cyber security, or cloud security.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one of CSPM, DLP, Mail Security Gateway, Secure Web Gateway, or PAM.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, Bash, or comparable languages.
• Foundational knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration is a plus.
• Understanding of offensive security concepts is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
• Effective communication of technical issues and risks.
