Security Expert – Physical Security & Data Center

About the role

TITANICOM TECH is looking for an experienced Security Expert to lead physical security operations for its international data centre and critical infrastructure projects in Istanbul. The role covers daily security management, loss prevention, incident response and coordination with security teams and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily physical security operations, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and operational standards.
• Manage access control for personnel, visitors, contractors, vehicles and assets.
• Coordinate and supervise on‑site security teams, external service providers and vendors.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve security procedures, operational standards and KPIs.
• Lead security incident investigations, risk assessments, corrective actions and end‑to‑end closure.
• Monitor and enhance physical security systems such as CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and alarm management.
• Collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to respond to alarms, incidents and potential threats.
• Coordinate emergency response, crisis management and security arrangements for major events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Safety Engineering, Facility Management, Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience managing physical security for large‑scale environments (data centres, logistics facilities, warehouses, industrial sites or corporate campuses).
• Strong knowledge of physical security systems and ability to manage security teams, contractors and external providers.
• Demonstrated capability to conduct incident investigations, implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and cross‑functional coordination skills.
• Fluent Turkish and English (both written and verbal); Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
