Senior Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen and continuously improve our security infrastructure. The role focuses on network security, security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and evolving our security controls and architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve cybersecurity architecture.
• Manage integration of network security and protection infrastructures.
• Perform L2/L3 incident response for critical security incidents.
• Analyse cyber attacks, extract IOCs and TTPs, and execute containment and remediation.
• Improve security controls and evolve architecture in response to emerging threats.
• Hardening of Linux and Windows systems and support vulnerability management.
• Contribute to ISO 27001 compliance and other information security processes.
• Support security automation initiatives and document incidents and assessments.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cyber security or a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Strong knowledge of network security, IAM and PAM concepts.
• Experience with WAF, proxy management, L7 DDoS protection and DDoS appliances.
• Proficiency with SIEM, EDR/XDR solutions and incident response.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS, SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance.

• Network security technologies (firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS).
• IAM and PAM, privileged account governance.
• WAF systems, proxy management, Layer 7 DDoS protection.
• SIEM solutions and log analysis.
• EDR/XDR tools such as SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender.
• MITRE ATT&CK framework, IOCs and TTPs.
• Vulnerability assessment, system hardening, remediation reporting.
• Scripting/automation with PowerShell, Python, APIs.
