Senior Associate / Manager - Accounting Advisory (Capital Markets)

About the role

PwC is looking for a Senior Associate and Manager for its Accounting Advisory (CMAAS) team in the Istanbul office. The role sits within an expanding practice covering Financial Reporting and Capital Markets, working on transactions and transformational projects with clients' senior management, bankers, lawyers and other advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Execute a broad range of accounting advisory projects such as new accounting changes, financial statement compilation and ERP conversion or implementation projects.
• Work on capital raising projects, including equity or debt offerings in local or international capital markets.
• Apply a consultant/advisor approach to client work.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from a reputable university.
• 2 to 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong analytical skills, ability to work in a multicultural environment and excellent written and spoken English; German is an asset.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of IFRS and Turkish GAAP.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and Alteryx.
• Ability to coach others, communicate well and uphold the firm's code of ethics.
