Senior Backend Developer (Node.js / Nest.js)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Backend (Node.js / Nest.js) Developer to join our fast‑growing network. The role is full‑time remote and focuses on building modern, scalable web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure backend applications using Node.js and Nest.js.
• Implement RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and microservices architectures.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability of applications.
• Integrate with SQL/NoSQL databases and external services via APIs.
• Ensure code quality, security, and compliance with industry standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with Node.js and 3+ years with Nest.js.
• Proven experience building REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
• Familiarity with authentication/authorization mechanisms like JWT and OAuth2.

Required skills

• Unit/integration testing using Jest or Mocha.
• Version control with Git.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) – nice to have.
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Event‑driven architecture and message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Docker and containerisation.
• Microservices and serverless architectures.
