Senior Buyer - Izmir Manufacturing

About the role

JCI is looking for a Senior Buyer to manage procurement activities for its Izmir manufacturing operation, reporting directly to the Procurement Manager. The role ensures timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services while supporting business objectives related to quality, delivery and cost.

Key responsibilities

• Lead supplier selection, negotiations and contract management.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and global suppliers.
• Drive cost savings, supplier performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality and Logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Support compliance with company policies, quality standards and procurement processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Solid procurement experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Preferred: experience in a multinational organization.

Required skills

• Strong negotiation, supplier management and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; preferred experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing and category management practices.
