About the role
Veolia is seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead commissioning activities for water and wastewater treatment plants, ensuring safe handover and optimal performance.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and execute the commissioning phase for equipment and processes, meeting contractual timelines.
- Prepare and revise commissioning schedules aligned with project plans.
- Coordinate design document consistency and support tender and project engineers.
- Conduct pre‑commissioning, commissioning, start‑up steps and performance validation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental procedures.
- Provide training to client operators and draft operating instructions.
Required profile
- BA in Environmental Engineering (Master’s a plus).
- Minimum 3 years experience in commissioning or site engineering for WTP/WWTP projects.
- Advanced English proficiency and a valid driving licence.
Required skills
- Design methodology and tools.
- Functional/technical specification development.
- Computer‑aided technical drawing.
- Water treatment techniques.
