Senior Data Analyst – Marketplace & Product Analytics

About the role

Hepsiburada is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to partner with business and product teams, turning large‑scale e‑commerce data into actionable insights. You will help drive data‑driven decisions that improve merchant performance and overall marketplace growth.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic data partner, identifying key problems and delivering data‑driven solutions.
• Analyze massive e‑commerce datasets to generate insights that inform product and business decisions.
• Evaluate merchant behavior and performance across touchpoints to spot growth opportunities and risks.
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools.
• Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technology product teams, BI developers, and data engineers to deliver both rapid and scalable analytics solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence.
• Strong analytical thinking with a commercial mindset.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with business and product teams.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL proficiency for large, complex datasets.
• Experience with big‑data environments, preferably Google BigQuery.
• Familiarity with BI and visualization tools such as Looker and Qlik.
• Knowledge of A/B testing and funnel analysis techniques.
• Basic understanding of machine‑learning concepts.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) and version control systems (e.g., GitLab).
