Senior Data Scientist & AI Engineer

About the role

Bentego is seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist & AI Engineer to design and deliver end‑to‑end data science, machine learning and generative AI solutions for enterprise clients. You will own the full lifecycle, from exploratory analysis to production‑grade LLM‑based systems and MLOps.

Key responsibilities

• Perform exploratory data analysis, data cleaning, feature engineering and build reusable pipelines.
• Develop, train, evaluate and deploy machine learning, deep learning and LLM‑based models.
• Formulate and solve optimization problems that turn model outputs into actionable business decisions.
• Establish and manage MLOps/LLMOps processes, including model versioning, CI/CD, monitoring and deployment.
• Design and deploy AI agents, agentic workflows and reusable agent skills.
• Collaborate with business teams to identify use cases and communicate findings to non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in data science or machine learning, preferably in consulting or project‑based environments.
• Proven technical leadership, mentoring experience and ability to deliver workshops.

Required skills

• Advanced Python proficiency with NumPy, Pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• SQL and experience with large‑scale data technologies (Spark, Hive, Hadoop/HDFS, Dask).
• Hands‑on experience with LLMs, NLP, prompt engineering, fine‑tuning, RAG and vector databases.
• Familiarity with LangChain/LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, OpenAI Agents SDK, Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI API and Hugging Face.
• Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and MLOps tools such as MLflow, Airflow, Kubeflow.
• Version control with Git and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
