Senior Data Scientist (Python)

About the role

Proxify is seeking a Senior Data Scientist with deep Python expertise to lead data innovation for high‑growth client teams. You will turn high‑velocity datasets into production‑ready predictive models that directly influence product strategy and business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimise scalable machine‑learning models and algorithms to solve complex business challenges.
• Architect and maintain robust data pipelines and feature stores, ensuring data quality and consistency across training and inference.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Product Managers, and Backend teams to integrate models into core APIs.
• Conduct peer code reviews, championing production‑grade Python design patterns and linting standards.
• Translate technical metrics (e.g., Precision, Recall, ROC‑AUC, RMSE) into clear business outcomes for executives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist with expert‑level mastery of the Python data ecosystem.
• Proven track record of moving models from notebooks to production using Docker and microservice design.
• Strong proficiency in writing complex, optimised SQL queries and handling large‑scale data with PySpark or Ray.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud data infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and managed ML services such as SageMaker or Vertex AI.
• Available to work in CET time zone (±3 hours).
