Senior Financial Reporting Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Financial Reporting Specialist to join our international, talent‑driven team in Sarıyer, Istanbul. The role supports financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, management reporting and business performance analysis, acting as a trusted partner to senior leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reports, variance analyses and financial performance reviews.
• Coordinate annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes.
• Analyze revenue, margin, operating expenses, cash flow and key business drivers.
• Support month‑end and quarter‑end financial review activities.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses for strategic initiatives.
• Monitor actual results against budget and forecast, providing actionable insights.
• Prepare presentations and financial reports for senior management.
• Contribute to process improvements, reporting automation and best FP&A practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling, budgeting or financial reporting.
• Knowledge of IFRS; familiarity with US GAAP is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem‑solving and teamwork skills.
• Self‑driven, detail‑oriented and highly organized.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., JDE Edwards, Hyperion) – advantage.
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools – advantage.
• Understanding of IFRS and US GAAP principles.
