Senior Gameplay Programmer

About the role

Naphora Games Group is seeking a Senior Gameplay Programmer to drive the development of hybrid‑casual mobile games. This fully remote position works on a Saudi Arabia schedule (Sunday‑Thursday, 9 AM‑5 PM KSA) and blends hands‑on coding with technical leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and optimise core gameplay systems using Unity and C#.
• Own the architecture of gameplay systems, ensuring they are scalable, modular and reusable across titles.
• Rapidly prototype new gameplay concepts with designers and iterate based on play‑tests and data.
• Write clean, modular, well‑documented code; profile and optimise performance, memory and stability on a wide range of mobile devices.
• Lead debugging of complex gameplay issues and mentor mid‑level and junior programmers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of mobile game development experience, especially on hybrid‑casual titles.
• At least four shipped mobile titles or equivalent experience taking prototypes to launch.
• Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset and ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
• Experience with Soft Launch, live operations, game analytics and data‑informed iteration.
