Senior HR Manager, Turkey Operations

About the role

The Senior HR Manager is a strategic, high-judgment leader and core member of the Turkey Operations senior leadership team. The role partners with business leaders across Mile operations to shape people strategies, set goals and deliver results that support Amazon's growth in Turkey, while owning the end-to-end employee experience across Mile sites. It balances automation with human insight, using technology, AI and real-time data, and requires onsite work at Amazon facilities in Turkey.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to Turkey operations leaders on workforce planning, organizational design and leadership capability building, translating regional and enterprise PXT strategies into local plans.
• Own the talent pipeline: partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring, lead calibration and succession planning, and coach emerging leaders.
• Design and run initiatives that improve engagement, attendance and retention, and champion inclusion, psychological safety and recognition.
• Advise on Turkish labor law, disciplinary processes and dispute resolution, and ensure fair policy application through audits, training and early intervention.
• Drive the performance management cycle and use workforce analytics to recommend scalable interventions.
• Lead organizational and operational change initiatives and build partnerships with Centers of Excellence and shared services.
• Promote adoption of HR technology and AI tools, and lead a high-performing HR team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or a related field.
• HR experience in a people management role, with experience supporting employee relations and performance management in an operational setting.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Turkish (CEFR C1/C2).
• Preferred: field HR experience in logistics, fulfillment or manufacturing; multi-site HR leadership; master's degree or MBA.
