Senior Information System Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Information System Specialist to design, implement, operate and maintain our Windows Server environment and related infrastructure. The role combines hands‑on technical work with responsibility for backup, virtualization and storage solutions, supporting the overall reliability of our data centre.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, operate and maintain Windows Server systems and services.
• Manage and monitor backup operations to ensure business continuity.
• Administer VMware and Hyper‑V virtualization environments.
• Configure and manage storage devices, SAN infrastructure and backup appliances.
• Oversee physical and virtual server infrastructures.
• Support day‑to‑day data centre operations.
• Monitor system performance, availability and reliability.
• Analyze and resolve infrastructure‑related issues.
• Participate in IT infrastructure improvement and transformation projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technologies or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and services.
• Proven experience with VMware and Hyper‑V virtualization platforms.
• Experience with backup technologies, preferably Veeam.
• Experience with SAN infrastructure and storage products.
• Experience managing physical and virtual server environments and data‑centre operations.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Good command of English and a proactive, result‑oriented attitude.
