About the role
DFDS is seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Intermodal Operations Specialist to join its Western Corridor team. You will coordinate daily trailer movements for both export and import operations, ensuring smooth intermodal transport and effective communication across all parties.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and coordinate trailer movements for export and import vessels and trains on a daily basis.
- Maintain close communication with shipping/train lines, customers, and internal departments.
- Ensure operational accuracy and timely flow of required documentation.
- Support the smooth execution of intermodal transport processes.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.
- 5‑6 years of experience in intermodal logistics operations.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
- Ability to work flexible hours when required.
- Detail‑oriented, proactive, and solution‑focused approach.
