Senior Internal Audit Specialist

About the role

Hepsiburada, Turkey's largest e-commerce platform and a NASDAQ-listed company, is hiring a Senior Internal Audit Specialist. The role covers internal audit engagements from planning through reporting, evaluation of internal controls, risk identification and follow-up on corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute internal audit engagements from planning to reporting in line with professional standards
• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting, operational processes and compliance
• Identify risks and control gaps and recommend process improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risk and ensure processes comply with company policies and regulations such as SOX
• Prepare clear audit reports and present findings to management
• Follow up on findings and corrective action plans, and work with process owners to close control gaps
• Monitor company activities against applicable laws, regulations and internal policies

Required profile

• Graduate of a Management, Economics or Engineering department from a reputable university
• Minimum 4 years of proven experience in internal audit, internal control, enterprise risk management, risk consulting or Big Four
• Excellent command of English
• Proactive, strategic decision-maker, detail-oriented problem solver able to handle several projects under pressure

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• SAP knowledge is a plus
• Analytical, process, business improvement, risk management and systems skills
