Senior Java Software Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are hiring a Senior Java Software Engineer to join a high‑growth fintech startup building a next‑gen investment platform. This full‑time, 100% remote position focuses on developing core systems for trading, compliance, and new fintech services.

Key responsibilities

• Build new features for existing systems such as U.S. securities trading.
• Plan and develop backend services for new investment products.
• Design and build internal tools and admin dashboards.
• Assist in integrating with third‑party APIs and vendors.
• Improve and maintain existing microservice codebases.
• Contribute to the design and evolution of scalable, robust backend architecture.

Required profile

• Solid experience in Java and microservices architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
• Passion for working in a fast‑paced startup environment.
• Strong commitment to writing clean, well‑tested, maintainable code.
• Comfortable participating in technical leadership, code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentoring.
