Senior Learning & Development Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Learning & Development Specialist to lead the design, delivery and evaluation of technical and onboarding training for both blue‑collar and white‑collar staff at our Pazaryeri production facility. The role combines hands‑on technical training with strategic program management to boost workforce competence and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and assess technical/operational training programmes covering production lines, machinery, quality standards, OHS and environmental compliance.
• Build and manage on‑the‑job orientation programmes, including buddy/mentor systems, structured shop‑floor onboarding and readiness checkpoints for new hires.
• Develop and deliver classroom‑based onboarding curricula tailored to blue‑collar and white‑collar audiences.
• Conduct training needs analyses, create annual training calendars and oversee on‑site execution for blue‑collar employees.
• Plan training budgets, coordinate external vendors and trainers, and report on training effectiveness using models such as Kirkpatrick.
• Maintain compliance with mandatory statutory trainings and monitor post‑training impact on performance.
• Align training standards across group sites in Çayırova, Pendik, Egypt and Uzbekistan.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Psychology, Human Resources or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of L&D experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record establishing and running on‑the‑job orientation programmes.
• Hands‑on experience delivering technical training on production processes, machinery and quality/OHS standards.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Willingness to reside in or relocate to Pazaryeri.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Knowledge of training effectiveness measurement models such as the Kirkpatrick model.
